Health Support
Companion visits, wellness check-ins, and coordinated referrals to public health services help our members feel seen and supported — especially seniors living independently in the parish.
Since our founding, Groupe Santé Entraide has stood beside the people of Saint-Joseph-de-Kamouraska — offering health support, wellness activities, and mutual aid rooted in the values of our rural Quebec community.
We believe that well-being is built together. Through prevention programs, wellness gatherings, and everyday acts of mutual aid, we help our friends and families stay healthy, connected, and supported through every season of life.
Companion visits, wellness check-ins, and coordinated referrals to public health services help our members feel seen and supported — especially seniors living independently in the parish.
From gentle-movement mornings to nutrition workshops and mental-health conversations, our activity calendar invites everyone to take one small step toward better health, every week.
Neighbours helping neighbours — transportation to appointments, meal support during recovery, and simple errands that make an enormous difference for people facing illness or isolation.
Rural life in the Kamouraska is beautiful — and, sometimes, isolating. A missed appointment, a difficult diagnosis, or the loss of a loved one can quickly turn into a health challenge that no one should face alone.
Groupe Santé Entraide was created to make sure that never happens. We coordinate volunteers, host prevention activities, and open our doors to anyone who needs a listening ear, reliable information, or a warm cup of coffee with a friend.
