Our Programs

Practical, welcoming, community-based programs designed to keep our neighbours healthy, active, and connected — through every stage of life.

What We Offer

Health and Wellness, the Neighbourly Way

Our programs are shaped by the real needs of the people who live here. They evolve with the seasons, respond to what our members are experiencing, and are always offered free of charge to those in our community.

Companion visit for a senior member of Groupe Sante Entraide

Companion Visits

Trained volunteers pay regular visits to seniors and isolated members. A friendly conversation, help reading mail, a walk around the block — small gestures that make a big difference for mental and physical health.

Transportation service to a medical appointment

Rides to Appointments

Reliable, respectful transportation to medical appointments in Saint-Pascal, La Pocatière, and the wider region — coordinated by our volunteer drivers so no one has to miss essential care.

Weekly gentle movement class in the community hall

Gentle Movement

Weekly low-impact exercise sessions designed for adults of all abilities. Balance, flexibility, and gentle strength work — because moving well is the foundation of healthy aging.

Community nutrition and cooking workshop

Nutrition Workshops

Practical cooking demonstrations, budget-friendly meal planning, and honest conversations about eating well through the Quebec winter — with recipes to take home and share.

Wellness walking group in the countryside

Walking Group

Every Wednesday morning, our walking group meets in the village and heads out together. All paces welcome. No registration required — just come as you are.

Health information session hosted at the community hall

Prevention Info Sessions

Monthly sessions with nurses, pharmacists, and health educators from the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent — covering heart health, diabetes, mental wellness, fall prevention and more.
