Companion Visits
Trained volunteers pay regular visits to seniors and isolated members. A friendly conversation, help reading mail, a walk around the block — small gestures that make a big difference for mental and physical health.
Practical, welcoming, community-based programs designed to keep our neighbours healthy, active, and connected — through every stage of life.
Our programs are shaped by the real needs of the people who live here. They evolve with the seasons, respond to what our members are experiencing, and are always offered free of charge to those in our community.

Every Wednesday morning, our walking group meets in the village and heads out together. All paces welcome. No registration required — just come as you are.
Monthly sessions with nurses, pharmacists, and health educators from the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent — covering heart health, diabetes, mental wellness, fall prevention and more.
You do not need to be a formal member to benefit from most of our programs — simply show up, or give us a call, and we will help you find your place. For services that require coordination (like transportation or companion visits), a short phone conversation lets us match you with the right volunteer.
